You are watching something in a language you are learning, and you are following most of it. Then one line goes past too quickly. You drag the progress bar back, overshoot, drag again — and by the time you find it, the video is no longer enjoyable.
SayAgain is a Chrome extension for YouTube. It puts the video's subtitles in front of you as a readable strip inside the player, so the line you missed is right there. Click it to see a translation, replay that exact fragment as many times as you want, and keep it as a flashcard if it is worth learning.

How it works

Subtitles become a strip
The video's own subtitles appear as a readable strip inside the player instead of a single line flashing past. You can see the sentence you are on, not just catch it.
Click a line for a translation
Click the phrase you did not follow and its translation appears. You do not leave the video, open a dictionary tab, or type anything.
Replay that exact fragment
Play back precisely the seconds that line occupies — as often as you like — without hunting for the spot on the progress bar and without losing your place in the video.
Save it as a card
If the phrase is worth keeping, save it. It becomes a flashcard, scheduled for review on a spaced-repetition schedule so it comes back just before you would forget it.
Review that sounds like the real thing
A saved card is not only text.
When a card comes up for review, it replays the original clip — the same speaker, the same speed, the same accent and the same background noise. So you are practising the thing that was actually hard: understanding it by ear. Reading a phrase you once heard is easy; recognising it again at full speed is the skill that transfers back to real video.
Everything you save comes from material you chose to watch, which means your review deck is made of language you have already met in context, not a generic word list.

Cancellation and refunds
Cancelling
Pro subscribers manage their subscription through the Stripe customer portal, reachable from inside the extension. You can cancel there at any time, without contacting us and without having to explain why. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not cut short.
After that, the account returns to the free tier. Cards you saved are not deleted — but while you are over the free limit of 100 cards you will not be able to add new ones until you are back under it or subscribe again.
Refunds
You can cancel at any time, and cancelling stops every future charge immediately — you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund a billing period that has already started, because you keep the use of it. Two exceptions, and we do not make you argue for them: if you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice for the same period, we refund that charge in full.
Disputes and billing questions
If a charge looks wrong, write to us first at flsfedorovlev@gmail.com — a billing mistake is usually sorted out faster by email than through a card dispute, and we would rather fix it directly. If you do open a dispute with your bank or card issuer, it is handled through Stripe, and we will respond to it there.
Support
Support is by email. Write to flsfedorovlev@gmail.com with any question: something not working, a subtitle language that behaves oddly, a billing problem, or a request to delete your account and data.
SayAgain is run by one person, so replies are written by a human rather than a helpdesk system. It also means an answer can take a day or two — if you have not heard back within three working days, please send the message again; it went missing rather than being ignored.
When reporting a problem, a link to the video and a short description of what you expected to happen is usually enough to reproduce it.
